SWEDISH R&B ARTIST MIRI TESFAZION PREMIERES HER FIRST MUSIC VIDEO
AND DANCE PERFORMANCE WITH 'THE REMIX’

Rising R&B artist miri tesfazion unveils the music video for the remix, a standout track from her latest EP, pressure: the prelude.
Released in November 2024 as an extension of her debut project 8: the mixtape, the EP reimagines the artist’s debut single, pressure, through multiple sonic lenses—breaking it down into a soulful, harmony-rich acoustic version, a piano-led introspective lullaby, the original self-produced demo, and a melodic-rap remix.
For her debut music video and dance performance, miri tesfazion worked closely with Kim Pastor of The Sugar Collective (now Agency), whose choreography plays a central role in bringing the visuals to life. The music video was produced by KAIT Studios, a Stockholm-based creative studio, while the remix, itself, was co-produced by Swedish Hip-Hop and R&B producer linkupdb and miri tesfazion under her producer tag nzelalem888, bringing a fresh, dynamic take to the original pressure.
With nothing but a blank canvas behind her, the remix music video strips everything down to its essence, keeping miri tesfazion as the sole focus—a visual statement on potential and a reminder that everything you need to begin is already within you.

miri tesfazion shares, "This song and music video symbolize the journey I’m on right now—staying focused, appreciating how far I’ve come, and seeing the endless possibilities ahead. I’m still in the process—with my career, fitness, self-image, and dance skills—but I want to show young women, and my past self, that loving what you do and working with what you have in this moment is enough to start moving toward where you want to be. It all starts with you. Obviously, having an incredibly creative and patient choreographer like Kim Pastor and a professional production team like KAIT is invaluable! But trust me, finding the right people to collaborate with is a blessing that comes with time.

Still early in her career, miri tesfazion is carving her lane in contemporary R&B. Inspired by artists such as Beyoncé, Victoria Monét, Tinashe, and Kehlani, she blends the sensuality of contemporary R&B with rap-influenced flow and cadence, crafting music that speaks to ambition, self-discovery, and confidence.
The music video officially premieres on March 8, International Women’s Day.
